streamr-chatbox's Issues

Streamr web3 provider

Intstead of MetaMask window.ethereum use the returned injected provider from web3modal in Streamr client setup

const client = new StreamrClient({
  auth: {
    ethereum: window.ethereum, // TODO use injectedProvider
  },
});

Add optional config params in the Chatbox component

  • network (default "mainnet", can only be either "mainnet" or "kovan")
  • scrollToLast (default true, can only be boolean)
  • Infura key (default the one in constants.js)
  • theme (default "dark", can only be either "dark" or "light") - should we use a boolean instead?

Make web3modal optional

The developer using this package can pass a web3 provider parameter or leave it null. If left null, the web3modal will pop-up and ask the user to login, otherwise it will just use the injected provider.

Fix message sending

The app should just send and receive pure text via Streamr. Messages are then encoded in an object containing a text field with the msg text and a from field containing the sender address.
