The original implementation by salman-abedin uses xdo which caused a whole lot of problems. In fact, it never worked reliably on my system at all (Ubuntu 18.04 LTS). In this fork I replaced the xdo dependency with xdotool a much more standard and reliable implementation. Works like a charm.

Hint: If you are one of those unfortunate souls who uses xdg-open instead of a custom launch script, then go to your ~/.local/share/applications directory and modify the applications you launch from your file explorer like below and enjoy the true devouring experience.
