When config option :metadata-position is set to :block the metadata block on self-evaluating values (non-cols) is missing a trailing \n, and therefore not appearing above the value, as expected.

Consider adding production stub lib for production builds, similar to the two-library model used in similar libs such as debux

Metadata can contain values that carry metadata which contains values that carry metadata, etc.

The background of nested metadata should be shifted along the lines of hue such that the level of nesting is made evident to the user, similar to the concept of "rainbow brackets".

Currently there is a hard-coded 100 char max for non-coll value results such as strings.
This should be a config option with a default value of 300~500.
Name of this option should be something like result-length-limit or non-coll-result-length-limit.

There should be a similar config option for non coll values nested 1 level deep, with a lower threshold, somewhere close to 80 chars.
