Installation

Currently the bot is not deployed, so you have to run it on your computer, using MAVEN to install, build, and run it. You have to set first the ownerId, and discord bot token in the application.properties, which I added a sample only.

./mvnw clean
./mvnw install

Run locally:

mvn spring-boot:run -Dspring-boot.run.profiles=dev

Working with docker containers:

Command	Description
docker build -t palfib/vanilla-wow-armory .	build docker image
docker run -p 8080:8080 palfib/vanilla-wow-armory	run docker container from the image
docker container ls	find the running container's id
docker container stop [ID]	kill it

Feature: Character details

Users should be able to list out characters, with details.
Support for tagging other user to see thier list.
New service, and discord command interface.

Users should be able to add equiped items on thier character and checked the equipments on other user’s characters.
Each character should have a default equipment set, and other can be added too, like fr-gear.

Investigate User handling in JDA

JDA has a guild, guildmember system, but pretty complicated, Ineed to dig myself into the matter check out a few existing implementation.

Users should be able to add professions, to thier characters, and set thier skill level, First Aid, Cooking, Fishing, and Riding should also be included here.

Feature: Help command

JDA-utilities includes a help builder, we should only populate the commands with the help text.

Feature: Adding talent for character

User’s should be able to add talent link from a vanilla wow talent calculator to each of his characters, with a spec label attached.
When listing character spec info should also be listed.

Feature: organizing raid/dungeon

Users should be able to add a new raid, or dungeon event, with the first parameter being the zone’s identifier, and the later the time of the event.

Adding more details, for NPC, Zone, etc type of objects.

Introduce database

Investigate on what database should be added, liquibase support should be avaliable.

Investigate discord login to web application, mobile app.

If we can do it it would be good to have a way to redirect to use discord user as login, if that is not going to work, maybe some token generation can also work, if the user want to switch platforms.

CommandServiceTestBase

We need a CommandServiceTestBase, for generating CommandEvent, MessageRecievedEvenet and so on, to be able to test commandServices.
