resource-labels's Issues

Ice ore

Hi,

can you please add the Ice Ore mod?

addItem ("ice-ore", "Ice Ore", "ice-ore")

Spread resources are labelled multiple times

It seems resources, especially around the borders, are more fuzzy in 0.16. This appears to cause multiple resource labels to be placed upon a single patch.

rl1

rl3

The same happens for oil patches, which are very frequently labelled multiple times.

rl2

pymods new resources

pycoal was updated and pyhightech was just released and both mods added new resources to the map that are not support by resource labels. please add them. i need my resource labels or i might have to actually look for things

Deep Core Mining Support

Loving your mod. I always label resources and I am so grateful that your mod does this automatically for me.

Would you please consider adding support for Deep Core Mining? The entity being reported is vtk-deepcore-mining-crack from that mod..

Thanks!

Min value

Hi

It is posible that only mark Resource over x for example over 1M stone. Perhaps it can be costumize in options?

Error in deep core mining support

Hello,

Thanks for adding support to my mod in yours !

I was taking a look at the code and found a little error, the uranium ore icon will not work, it is missing "-chunk" at the end of the icon filename.

addItem ("uranium-ore-patch", "Uranium (Deep)", "vtk-deepcore-mining-uranium-ore")

Regards

Unknown Resource Entity 'rare-earth-bolide'

Since the message said to contact the author of Resource-Labels, here I am.

The offending entity (from the command line) was rare-earth-bolie
The mod it comes from is Pyanodons HighTech.

Option to not show resource icon

For smaller patches (coughoilcough ;-)) the icon obscures the patch such that you have to hover at the patch/icon borders to get the count.

Auto-scan Option

If possible, I would like to see an auto-scan option in the mod settings menu. When enabled, it would automatically generate labels instead of having to manually press the scan shortcut.

Unable to remove labels

I am unable to remove resource labels on the map.

Shift-h does not do anything.
If unchecked in the settings it will not mark the new patches but will still show data on the already marked ones.
Tried uninstalling but that does not remove the labels,

Please help, there is way too much stuff on the map as it seams that there are hundreds of really small patches which cover the whole map and make it impossible to find anything.

Thank you
Ivica

"attempt to compare nil with number" error

Factorio 0.16.5 (but also occured in 0.16.4, and possibly earlier)

Resource labels 0.16.1

When hitting Shift + G, I get the following error:

ResourceLabels/stdlib/area/area.lua:329: attempt to compare nil with number

It repeats several times, and then times out.

As well (likely due to this error) anything already labeled isn't un-labeled, and anything not labeled already doesn't become labeled. So shift+G doesn't do anything.

Angel's Gardens

Hi,

can you please add the Angel's Gardens?

Problem: They are trees not ores.

Would be very nice as they are hard to find.
The definitions are in Angel's Bioprocessing\prototypes\buildings\gardens.lua

addItem ("temptemperate-garden", "Temperate Garden", "temperate-garden")
addItem ("desert-garden", "Desert Garden", "desert-garden")
addItem ("swamp-garden", "Swamp Garden", "swamp-garden")

Resource amount

It'd be appreciated if you could also generate the label name with the amount of the resources in the patch. Not down to the last ore piece, of course, but abbreviated. K for thousand, M for million, so on. This would make it much easier to tell how much ore has been mined from a patch.

Cargo Ships compatibility

Hi,

could you please add the Deep Sea Oil from Cargo Ships:

--cargo-ships
addFluid("deep_oil", "Deep Sea Oil", "deep_oil")

Edit: It doesn't work because the oil fields are placed by script not by autoplace control.
At least
addItem("deep_oil", "Deep Sea Oil", "deep_oil")
surpresses the error message....

Maybe
hide("deep_oil")
would suffice.

Cu, Stephan
