Hey mate, I havnt had a chance to try and recover my BTC and to be honest I'm pretty nervous to try anything incase I lose my coins.

Someone was kind enough to send me detailed instructions on how to do it and it goes as follows: (let me know if you are able to do it)

"Good news, I transferred my BTC on th Bitpay wallet. I used these recovery tools.
I hope you will be able to restore your BTZ as well.

Unfortunately this is known. Bitpay did change their servers and at the moment there are no developer resources free to fix this within Particl Copay wallet. You have to move your BTC funds to another wallet. It even may be possible the Particl Copay wallet will abandon BTC support -but this is not final. At the moment, if you need to access your funds, you need to move.
