Many posts do not check if an error is returned. We should add error handling in those case. It would help diagnose issues

New teams often forget to invite the bot to their slack channel. The bot should poke members of the teams for which it is not in the target channel and ask them to invite him.

Out of office command should support marking user including the @ symbol. This is easier for autocompletion of the username.

Have loggers and log outputs

• Output logs into stdout and into files
• Use standard lib loggers (logrus can also help & kubernetes/kops logers setup)
• It should uses decent logging to help debug if something goes wrong

Have a way to put users out of office without removing them from teams

When you have nothing to say or haven't work on this particular project during the day and don't plan on doing so the following day, a user should be able to skip a scrum

An embedded SQLite or something. It would allow easier modifications, make supporting multiple teams easier, and would make it possible to keep everything from the beginning of time and query per team/date/user.

New users don't understand how it works , they need an onboarding session. or something like that :)

Have a time zone ID in the config file to specify how to read the cron files correctly.
