Support checkout-and-go comprehensive build, demo, and integration testing on developers' laptops

This is a parent ticket gathering tasks to the end given in the title. It is expected to be revised over time as we learn what's necessary.

  • [] Integrate secp256k1-native and secp256k1-java into one repository and cross-build using xcross, osxcross, and native-lib-loader for all relevant platforms (Linux x86_64, Linux Arm64, macOS x86_64, macOS Arm64, Windows x86_64) with fallback to pure Java
  • [] Refer to lmdb-java's "Building" section for developers to either cross-build lmbd-java themselves, or use a packaged release and the lmdbjava.native.lib system property to refer to a compiled LMDB library for their platform
  • [] Investigate HaloDB and SwayDB as possible replacements for lmdb-java
  • [] Given documented one-time developer setup (BNFC, JFlex, etc.) ensure git clone ... && cd ... && sbt clean Test/clean compile Test/compile test succeeds
  • [] Provide integration tests using testcontainers-scala for a small (3-node) network, with bonds, wallets, etc. conducting realistic transactions. sbt IntegrationTest/test must pass
