dotfiles's Issues

--parents or --force are illegal option

Hi,

This is a very weird error, I dunno why but my mac tells me that mkdir --parents isn't correct but -p works fine :/

Same probleme with --force, I get:

sudo bash symlink-dotfiles.sh
Symlinking dotfiles from /Users/julien/Development/paulmillr/dotfiles
Linking '/Users/julien/Development/paulmillr/dotfiles/home/*' to '/Users/julien/.*'
rm: illegal option -- -
usage: rm [-f | -i] [-dPRrvW] file ...
       unlink file

I know it's not related to your code but maybe you know.

Thank you

Install creates an extraneous "dotfiles" folder

The install script does this:

dir="$HOME/Developer/paulmillr/dotfiles"
mkdir -p $dir
cd $dir
git clone git://github.com/paulmillr/dotfiles.git

That results in a path like this:
.
└── paulmillr
└── dotfiles
└── dotfiles

Looks like the $dir should be simply: "$HOME/Developer/paulmillr" instead

Terminal Colors not Working

Brand new install, Mavericks. Getting all kinds of errors on the new computer setup. Had to run things manually for a bit. Also issues with the terminal. It looks like this even with your theme:

Any ideas?

file="${file%.sh}" file="${file%.sh}"

Hi, paulmillr!
in this file located at etc/symlink-dotfiles.sh,
What does this statement do, file="${file%.sh}" in symlink-dotfiles.sh
It just rename file without suffix .sh then link files.

syntax error
