Hi guys.

What about directory support ?

Maybe we can add new behavior to manage directory.

interface CanDetectDirectory extends Behavior

And add this ability to the File ?

Into the Filesystem, metods get and set are huge and really not solid. Maybe we can create some kind of operators like that :

namespace Gaufrette\Core\Operator;

use Gaufrette\Core\File;
use Gaufrette\Core\Adapter;

interface Saver
{
    public function save(File $file, Adapter $adapter);
}

namespace Gaufrette\Core\Operator;

use Gaufrette\Core\File;
use Gaufrette\Core\Adapter;

interface Loader
{
    public function load(File $file, Adapter $adapter);
}

And so we can create a content operator (to load/save file content) a metadata operator (same with metadata, ....

Like @docteurklein says, we should use interfaces. So we will create interfaces for adapters (like CanListDirectory, KnowMetadata, ...) but should we create interfaces for the file ?

This is not a good idea since it can lead to inconstent state.
