• This repository is a back-end for my Amazon-clone front, written by JS using Express.
• You can easily use this for your backend by changing the relevant things.

1. First clone the repository.

   git clone https://github.com/Pethum-Jeewantha/express-amazon-clone-api.git

2. Once cloned, open the repository from the IntelliJ IDEA

3. Then run npm i (Nodejs required)

4. Add dummy items for MongoDB.

5. Add amazon_jwtPrivateKey using terminal or cmd.

   1. Ubuntu -> export amazon_jwtPrivateKey=<key>
   2. Windows -> set amazon_jwtPrivateKey=<key>

6. Finally, run npm start

• You can use this when you need an API written by JS using Express. This is coded specifically for my amazon clone Frontend.
