At first let me give you a big compliment for building this dashboard!

I'm trying to change the layout a bit to be able to sign in to different Zabbix environments. I want to use it as a 'master' dashboard. Anyway.. I've created some radio buttons so that a user could select his or hers preferred environment. But now I have an issue and I hope you could help me out.

When I select an environment, the value (http://some.example.com/zabbix/) is being placed in the 'url' textbox. That really works perfect. But... I need to point my cursor at the textbox and hit the TAB key before the validator is going to try to contact the Zabbix API to show the API versioin. Is there a way to let the validator check the Zabbix API version when the 'url' textbox content changes on click?
