As DATEV is not able to rejoin the single entries in it's "Kundenrechnung/Rechnungsausgang" we can just export the transaction data rather than the transaction item data

We have to remember that we need some fields exported

When importing the Export File into DATEV Unternehmen Online the import will break when the column Kontobezeichnung has more than 40 cases.

"Kontobezeichnung" is fetched from account_name in DocType Account. This could be limited to 40 cases on the UI to avoid this problem.

We could create a DocType Notification which will send an e-mail when submitting the Sales Invoice. To do this we need

• a custom field typ data with option Email to set a e-mail address which will recieve the sales invoice
• the "upload" e-mail address of DATEV set as standard entry in the prior created field
• a Notification with a sender address that is whitelisted in DATEV Unternehmen online in which the Print Format of Sales Invoice is included
