Hyperjumping whilst landed causes game to freeze about pioneer HOT 3 CLOSED

Steps to replicate:

Start at Sol
Open map, select Proxima Centauri system
Select forward view
Click launch
IMMEDIATELY Click hyperspace

Quitting the game using the Escape menu at this point causes a segfault. Backtrace here.

The crash at exit might be unrelated. I have seen crashes at exit at other times, often after long runs and especially after missiles are used. I haven't been able to reproduce reliably though.
