AGE of Joy is a lovingly recreation of that heady mix of electronic beeps, flashing lights, and the neon-lit cacophonous wonderland of a late 20th-century arcade. Remember the anticipation as you dropped your coins into the slot, the thrill of chasing high scores? Now, you can relive those magical moments with your Meta Quest headset.

This VR simulation is a love letter to the golden era of gaming, when people gathered in arcades to experience the latest and greatest games. We invite you to enter this digital sanctuary, where gaming history is preserved and shared with everyone.

• Meta Quest 2 or compatible device
• SideQuest or a similar app for installation
• MAME compatible ROMs for the arcade machines

1. Visit itch.io, GitHub, or SideQuest to download the apk
2. Follow the instructions on this page to enable and sideload apps onto your Meta Quest
3. Run the game from the "Unknown Sources" in your Quest Library at least once (this initializes the folders needed)
4. Download cabinet assets if desired (from the cabinet database)
5. Install cabinets following the instructions in this post: https://curifab.itch.io/age-of-joy/devlog/457114/age-of-joy-how-to-get-and-deploy-cabinets-assets
