Piotr Mitros's Projects
Internal: Demo of how shared fields work in XBlock-SDK
Nothing to see here: Running a short workshop on git
Draft: Focus stacking utility for microscopes
Quick Hack: Extract and translate Khan Academy subtitles for CS videos
Internal: A template for making new XBlocks. Super-easy to use. But there's a nicer thing in the xblock-sdk repo now.
Utility: A tool which downscales and manages images for easy processing. Images have a maximum resolution of 2048x1536, which is enough for reasonable review, but 3MP images are fast to work with.
Project: A strongly typed TSV format with metadata
Probably obsolete: Vinil was a programming language a friend and I created in the nineties. It was an experiment in having a language which really deeply allowed code to modify itself, in some ways similarly to functional programming or JavaScript.
Utility: Enable QOS for VoIP on home networks
edX: Assorted analytics scripts for edX
Prototype: Some prototypes for where we'd go in the next generation of Open edX, mostly around shared content in flipped classrooms.
Probably obsolete: One of many repos constituting a project to make edX work off-line. Most of the useful stuff is now in other repos
edX: An XBlock for navigating courses based on objectives and badges
edX: Proposed future functionality for xblocks. I toss things in here which are hack-arounds for missing XBlocks functionality.
edX: A self assessment XBlock for the edX Platform which allows students to submit and self-grade freeform text.
