unix-archive's Introduction

This is a mirror of the The Unix Heritage Society's Unix Archive — a repository/collection of historical UNIX versions from Bell Labs, Berkeley, etc. Presently, this directory is identical to the tuhs.org repository, except that:

  • Applications/OpenLook-XView-1.0e.tar.bz2 was ~130MiB, and therefore would have exceded GitHub's 100MiB filesize maximum. I therefore have taken the liberty of recompressing it with xz. The tar file is untouched.
