Glad to see you here! I'm Pooranjoy Bhattacharya, an Aspiring Software Engineer with a strong passion for Web, App and Open-Source. I balance code with Music 🎵 and find peace in a sip of tea 🍵 and painting 🎨. From the flatlands of Assam to the mountain highs of Sikkim, I swapped tea for treks and learned that altitude isn't just a number!

Currently, I'm building an eCommerce Application named Pop-Shop based on Supabase, React Redux and Vite in GirlScript Summer of Code 2024. My notable contributions include building StreeSaksham which was submitted to Google Solutions Challenge 2024. I've also had the privilege of mentoring in JGEC Winter of Code 2024 as well as Delta Winter of Code 2023.

I mostly work with Typescript, specifically React & NextJS to power my Web Apps. Recently, I have been tinkering with React-Native and .NET Core.

During Hacktoberfest 2023, I mentored the Official Website Repository of GDSC SMIT helping beginners kickstart their journey into open-source, impacting over 100+ beginners. I also mentored on a project called Beat Bridge which is basically a Spotify Integrated Music Player with clustering based recommendation engine.
