wire-portable's Issues

Wire portable leaves an empty folder in appdata

Steps to reproduce this issue

  1. Run the program
  2. It creates "C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Wire\logs"
  3. The folder exists even if the app is closed

Expected behaviour

The folder shouldn't stay as a leftover

Configuration

App release : Latest version - 3.11.3259

Operating system : Windows 10 Pro 64 bits

Wire Portable displays connection issue message with all messages sent

Behaviour

When using Wire Portable, sending any m essage to anyone results in a seemingly failed message issue, stating the message could not be sent due to a connection issue. However the message does get recieved by the other person. This issue is not present on a regular install of the standalone Wire application on the same PC. This happens regardless of fresh installing Wire Portable with the newest version, etc. Also happens on 3 other PCs I tried.

Steps to reproduce this issue

  1. Run Wire Portable
  2. Send anyone a message

Expected behaviour

The message should send without the error?

Screenshots

Here's the error itself
