freebsd-nvidia-optimus's Issues

Multiple screens

i can confirm that this driver works on Dell G5 15 5587 but i can't run second screen.
Is running mutiple displays supported?

Optimus service won't start without "AllowEmptyInitialConfiguration" "True"

Hi,

First of all, thank you so much for putting this package together! I can finally use Optimus on my laptop in FreeBSD without having to use Linux. ๐Ÿ‘

I couldn't get the optimus service to run unless I modified the the display device section to the following:

    Identifier "Device1"
    Driver "nvidia"
    VendorName "NVIDIA Corporation"
    BusID "1:0:0"
    Option "NoLogo" "true"
    Option "UseEDID" "false"
    Option "ConnectedMonitor" "DFP"
    Option "AllowEmptyInitialConfiguration" "True"
EndSection

Without the "AllowEmptyInitialConfiguration" "True" I was getting the (EE): No screens found error.

Thanks,
Tom

Not an issue rather a question

Should the xorg conf file have both intel and nvidia devices? What happens when a new driver get released? I dont suppose nvidia-xrun works with freebsd? Lastly does optirun work with wine and steam?

Thanks a lot for your time and effort

building locally fails

Just cloned the repo and run make.
It seems "ARCH" is not being set correctly ?.
