Hi,
i changed from Iobroker to HomeAssistant and have trouble with my Max Q3 Thermostate.
I use MaxCul CUL FW Version: V 1.61 CUL868

Three Max Thermostats added clean and show the thermostat icon. See the screenshot added.
Two newer Max Thermostats only show an Batterie Icon. No Thermostat and no configuration for the temperature. This show like only a batterie Entity...

Have you an Idea? I added debug for the MaxCul but nothing is showing in the log.

Hi, I am having troubles getting it to work on the latest HA version.
I'm running a VM under proxmox, ported the USB and managed to install the maxcul plugin.
Soon as I configure the plugin and select the USB device HA crashes.
I can't realy find a log entry or something so I'm trying to figure out if it's the HA version or proxmox.

Are you running it with the latest HA?

i install your integration, but no pairing is working for me.
I start the service "Max CUL: enable_pairing" and set the device path to "192.168.x.x:2323"
But nothing happened. In the Logs the pairing request is shown:
2023-06-20 21:52:45.412 INFO (Thread-3) [maxcul._communication] Pairing requested but pairing disabled, not pairing to new device

how to pair the devices correctly?

thanks for your work :-)
I was able to install(copied the folder maxcul in custom_components and added integration). My gateway is a converted Cube.
Network and serial connections seem to come up without problems.
But I cannot find any configuration options for pairing with a thermostat. There is only the option to add a new gateway.
There is a config button attached to the gateway entries, but ther is not much happning, just an input field with a numer '1193046'.
Can you give me some advice?

thank you very much for such great projects!
I've only been running Home Assistant for a short time and probably don't understand all the approaches yet.
I have installed this integration via HACS, but am now failing to set it up/use it.
Are there any instructions on how to set up this integration?
The latest version of Home Assistant runs on a Raspberry 4.
For communication with the MAX! devices I have a nanoCUL 868 MHz from https://schlauhaus.biz/produkt/nanocul-868/ with the software culfw.

Where and how do I have to make this known in the MAX! integration?
