This is a WhatsApp clone that I tried creating. I used Firebase to implement real time database. You can login in this using your E-mail or Google account. Features like changing your profile picture and updating your status are also implemented.

I don't know why but if we run the project using latest version of android services, it gives an Invalid API key error while logging in. That is why it is better we use 'com.google.gms:google-services:4.3.0' rather than 'com.google.gms:google-services:[latest_version]'
