mini-aftersherpa's Issues

Dragonfly Cowling

The newly updated Dragonfly cowling does not with with the standard screws (standard screws are m2.5x6)
The counterbore holes are not deep enough.
The counterbore needs to be ±1.5-2mm deeper in order to fit it.

Support for Revo Voron

Since the Revo voron cold mount is out on market it will be very nice to have a mount for it.

Carriage for MG9 on X

I’ve looked everywhere and no one has a carriage for that works with the Orbiter 2 and the hartk MGN9 on x Rail. Any way we can make this happen?

Support for Orbiter V2 + Revo

Hey, this isn't an issue but I was just wondering if you've got a duct which supports an orbiter v2 and/or E3D Revo Voron hotend?

Cheers,

RC

Sherpa micro (adapter) does not fit

The Sherpa micro adapter has a offset for the screws and filament path. Please test it before just uploading it to your github. Print out the sherpa micro housing_core and test the fit. Please fix the stl.

Missing files

Hey,

i've opened every file 3 times now but I can't find the slide in mount for the V6 hotend. Am I just not finding it or is the file not uploadet?
Could you please check wether or not is is somewhere or upload the file.

BR,
Niklas

Added space for E3D V6 heatsink collet

I use E3D V6 Bowden Heatsink and Orbiter v2.
Among the E3D V6 heatsinks, the 'Bowden' method has a collet.
If a heat sink for 'direct' use is used, the existing modeling is suitable.

I like the bimetal heatbreak.
some bimetal heatbreak products require a tube on top.
And it looks like you need a tube at the bottom of the Orbiter's filament guide.
So... the collet of the heatsink is an important existence.
The upper face of the body needs to protrude 3mm for the collet.
I personally tweaked the file you shared and found that a 3mm extrusion is the optimal height.

Please add a modified model for those who use a similar combination to me.

Cowling to support 3010 Hotend Fans

Hey,

im currently building a micron and I'd like to use 3010 fans for the hotend (Revo Voron). Is there any current mod? Is this a good idea?

support for the goliath hotend

is it possible to somehow use a goliath hotend with this toolhead? i quite like it and would like to use my orbiter v2.0 and my goliath

Counterbore too deep for rigid mounted Dragonfly BMO

Hi! First, thanks for sharing this awesome design! I'm currently trying to get this to work with a Sherpa Mini and a Dragonfly BMO. While trying to mount the hotend I noticed that this doesn't work with the stock M2.5x8 bolts that come with the hotend.

The mounting holes of the Dragonfly aren't as deep as on the holes on the Dragon. They're only about 2.8mm deep going only through the first "floor" of the heatsink. So when trying to mount it, the screws can't be screwed all the way in. The counterbore on the Dragonfly holes is too deep.

The counterbore could be decreased by a few millimetres on the Dragonfly holes. However, on the version with with the guilder hole the guilder screw would then collide with the head of the mounting bolt because it now sits higher.

I've attached a section view that highlights the issue (the red part on the screw).

Here's what it would look like with 2.3mm less counterbore depth:

Support for Trianglelab TBG-Lite Extruder

The TBG-Lite extruder is an alternative to the LGX lite extruder, with a slightly lower price and weight, and similar large drive gears.
I was wondering whether adding support for it to the Mini-AfterSherpa is possible and/or planned.

Trianglelab has released STEP files of the extruder which should help (can be found here).

Support for Voron 0.0

Hey,
thank you for this awesome project!

One question. Is it possible to mount this on the Voron 0.0, because everywere theres only written "V0.1".
If older versions would be supported to, i would expect just a V0 if it supports both.

Thanks you!
