Hey guys!! 👋, I am Somdeb. Hope everthing is going well.

I am a recent graduate student in Genome Sciences and Technology with an emphasis on Chemical Biology.

My study focused on developing DNAzymes and aptamers as a novel class of therapeutic candidates which developed my aptitude in Chemistry and Biology.

  • 🔭 I'm also building my data science portfolio using Python and R to assist me in designing efficient pipelines for statistical analysis in drug discovery programmes.

  • 🤔 Interests: Drug Discovery, Automation Workflows, Data Science, and Computational Biology.

  • ⚡ Hobbies: When I’m not working, I love reading books mainly non-fiction (science and economics) or history, going on hikes, traveling, listening to rock/pop music, playing piano (keyboard).
