@kaikramer Hi, I am sorry to contact you this way but I could nowhere find your email.
If you can/want, I would require some help with the current repository. I am still a rookie an java and I hit a wall...
TLDR:
a) I want to automate renewal, take an X509 expired cert, parent/signer cert and generate a new valid one with all the same attributes/extensions as the old one....I can do that for some extensions but others I simply cannot find how to extract the attributes and then assign them in the right way again
b) same as in Keystore explorer, I want to create extension profiles that can be applied to newly generated certificates, although i believe most of this will be clear to me if the a) question is solved
