Actively working on this now; in a nutshell, there are three commands (in order):

mu compile: this will evaluate a blueprint MuPackage and generate a MuGL graph from it. This representation may be "incomplete" due to output dependencies in the graph. -
mu plan: this will compare one MuGL graph against another, to ascertain the complete set of actions that would be taken were we to initiate anapply. Due to the possible incompleteness of the graph (in the same ways ascompile), this may have "hypotheticals" in its output. -
mu apply: this actually takes the plan and applies it. Because actions are taken, outputs will be known, and the resulting graph at the end will be complete.
