Project is not displaying correctly

map is at the bottom of the page not alongside and when you click on more to see the entire summary the summary disappears.

• Location is often way off (in the middle of the sea) can we improve this?
• Only feature projects are showing up on the map can we have all projects come up on the map or will that take a long time to load? perhaps a limit of 20 projects should come up on the map.

When the location is a specific latitude and longitude (copied from a google map) the location on the kipwiki map is not the same.

I thought this might be because we do not go to as many decimal points as google maps do.

i.e google -34.893112,138.643255 - then kipwiki only goes to -34.893,138.643 or something like that. Could it be this?

In Future project and Local projects shown on home page the projects photos are not shown correctly, default image is shown.

This needs to be either hidden or made editable by the user until it can function better automatically. If making editable by the user - user should be able to select % complete. Whether the project is in initiation, planning, executing or closed. Ideally these should also be different colours, i.e. green for initiation, yellow for planning, red for executing, blue for complete/closed.

In the search bar you now have to delete the word "search" before you can start typing. This should disappear as soon as you start typing

At present apart from Summary section, no other section data can be edited or deleted.

There will be many different people who have an interest in the project for a variety of reasons. You can list them here and identify key stakeholders.

Approval must be meet by the key stakeholders for the project to be judged an overall success.

Clicking edit on a project and going to the summary section only the summary text is shown. It is only once you go inside this to edit do you see categories, location, status, photos, etc.

This should all be shown on the summary page.

When a mistake is made on the registration page all the other information is erased which means it must be filled in again

Text is in grey, text entered by user should be darker.

Admin should be able to send request for project management to unregistered user via email.

It should not accessible -> Although user can not edit or destroy any record.

When projects are created if the location entered does not included the name of the city they are in these projects will not come up in a search for projects within that city.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Notify project owner when anyone suggests or comments on their project.

Notification should be on Dashboard Page and by email.

Notify user when a followed project is updated - Dashboard and email.

Suggestions are quite hidden on the project edit page, they should be shown without having to click as per the other fields such as project manager.

Seem to be able to login with facebook if you have already registered but if you haven't registered you cannot register with your facebook id. Would be good if this was possible.

Landing page doesn't load from some computers.

Could this be a browser issue, a location issue or possibly to do with geolocation?

The news section is not displaying correctly on the project page. Only the first few lines of news articles are displayed and there is no way of expanding them.

The search results page should by default show a map of the area based on ip with all projects in that area. If a search has been made the map should be off the area searched for and should show all projects that have been found on that map.

If you search india it comes up with no projects even though there are projects in india.

Different search buttons are producing different results - if i type "adelaide" in the search bar in the header i get 2 results but if i type it in the landing page or search page search boxes i get no results.

When simple locations are added such as "baner" additional text needs to be automatically added to location so that it reads "Baner, Pune, Maharashtra, India"

A search for any of these words Baner, Pune, Maharastra or India should result in this project coming up in search results.

People are complaining that the project display is complicated and too confusing.

This can be simplified by only including sections as they are included by the owner, i.e. if there are no project objectives do not include a project objectives section until the owner adds them.

Remove the edit buttons / suggest buttons from every heading and including only one edit / suggest button.

Any more ideas?

On the landing page only feature projects are being displayed. Every project should be displayed.

Need users to confirm project location via google map. User was having issue creating a project when the location could not be found on a google map.

News is not displayed on the project page when added to the project

Add User Voice Account / Widget to Kipwiki.

uses open source software available from http://www.ushahidi.com/ called crowd map

The site groups issues so that the map doesn't overflow with markers
The filtering is also nice and easy.
If under each category there were subcategories it might be a great way of using our site. Finding projects of interest.

Project type should not be shown - this is all implied by other information

Photo uploader is not functioning properly.

Could upload photos but they weren't being displayed.

For projects with no photos a 'photo' should be displayed stating "No Photo's" to prompt users to add photos.

You should be able to directly add or edit the facebook like status of a project from the project page.

If no status exists there should be some help / prompt text in grey italics i.e. 'enter project status'

Add User Account Management

User should be able to change password, change email address, change city, edit notification settings (how often email and what is recieved)

Trying to edit objectives - get error - broken link?

Funding should be a simple text box not separate line you add.

This will make it more flexible.

Project Sponsor should be included at the top of this section as well as project funding instead of under project summary where they are currently found.

Be able to print Project Pages and Search Results and include a print button on these pages.
