From what I can tell there are two problems. 1) The get-vasastoragearray returns a null provider or the wrong one (I/Ofilter).

I think there is an underlying bug in PowerCLI where it is looping incorrectly. Will follow up with VMware.

Cannot close this until working with VMware. Could be a PowerCLI regression.

This seems to work fine in vCenter 7. Could be a 6.7 bug

Seems to work now in PowerCLI 12.1 and vCenter 6.7 and 7. Closing as fixed.
