• Node.js
• NestJS
• Prisma
• PostgreSQL

• Node.js
• Docker
• Docker compose
• AWS CLI account (read/write access to S3)
• AWS S3 Bucket

1. Clone this repo and enter project

   git clone https://github.com/benmotyka/my-plants_api.git
   cd my-plants_api/

2. Install NPM packages

   npm install

3. Create .env file and enter:

   DATABASE_URL=postgresql://username:password@localhost:5432/db?schema=public 
   
   S3_BUCKET_NAME=<s3_bucket_name>
   S3_ACCESS_KEY=<aws_account_access_key>
   S3_SECRET_KEY=<aws_account_secret_key>
   

4. Run app

   docker-compose up --build

5. Apply database migrations

   npx prisma migrate reset
