I've tried using the EFI folder along with the apple recovery for Monterey but it hangs on the loading screen with apple logo quite early on.

Can you please confirm that you used the WD SN520 256GB M.2 2242 in the WWAN slot as a secondary hard drive and BIOS recognised it?
Do you mind telling me what BIOS version you have?

I have Dell Lattitidue 7390 2-in-1 with 16Gb RAM and i7 CPU. Is that what you have?

Also, I haven't used OpenCore EFI before but I presume it is similar to Clover - as in create the USB installer and just move your EFI folder into the EFI folder on the installer (and later to the HDD EFI folder). Is that right?

When I try to boot the big Sur installer the progress bar moves a little before freezing, I suspect it's bios what settings do u have?

I finally switched to MacOS for my Dell.
Everything looks good except for camera:

• Photobooth doesn't show any image
• Facetime shows IR camera

One more request. Can you please give a quick explanation of so many files in your ACPI folder?
Why is there an APPLE folder with OC and BOOT?
