Save and Save As only save the first character in the text widget.

Also, when opening the file again, it shows the first character, followed by 2 braces "{}".

I would like to have some features with fedit
*at the bottom show howmany characters typed
*give buttons a different color instead of theme and make it highlight on any theme
*and will inform more

i am interested to make your project wonderfull i will make a setup.py
which will do

*make the project available through commandline and desktop menu
without affecting the current project.if you are interetsted post a reply
