NC News - Laura Quinn

NC News is a new aggregation web application, similar to Reddit.

Users who are not signed in can

  • View all articles
  • View an individual article and it's comments
  • Sort comments based on topic
  • Sort articles by date, user, votes, and comment count

Logged in users can also

  • Vote on articles and comments
  • Post new comments on articles
  • View a user profile page
  • Delete comments written by themselves

Getting Started

Prerequisites:

  • npm version 6
  • node version 10

Steps:

Clone this repository

git clone https://github.com/quinnter/FE_NC_News.git

Navigate to correct directory and install dependencies

npm install

Run the "start" script to start the application running locally

npm start

When you are done using the server use ctrl + c
