Everything seems to be functioning as expected, but getting odd error output in the overlay console.

Hey, I just installed cactbot for the first time with 0.6.4 and I noticed that there weren't any test bars with raidboss module. Then, when I tried to test it on the striking dummy at Summerford Farms, it didn't work after setting it up.
I downloaded and installed Cactbot 0.6.3 and the raidboss module worked fine, didn't even change the settings of the module previously. Got to see the timeline and the alert texts. When I redownloaded 0.6.4, it just seems that raidboss doesn't work.
Hi, 3.5 has broken alert customizations for me. In /user/raidboss.js I have set:
Options.SoundAlertsEnabled = false
Options.SpokenAlertsEnabled = true
But sound alerts are still being played, this happens even if I set volume to 0.
Edit: Changing it directly in /ui/raidboss/raidboss.js works.

Getting 2 errors I can't work around yet. Posting here for future reference. I know one issue is ACT related and likely nothing to be done.

Heya!
So I have a little problem with my bottom buff tracker, it shows wrong time and act wierd as it counts dowm..,
eg.: for warriors it tracks the Storm's Eye buff that have a duration of 30s, but the tracker shows the number 13 and the countdowns ticks every 3s. Same with the PLD and so on...
Instead of info text timing out, it'd be nice to have some persist.
This could get used for the 6 fulms under, or when dps need to float for double stack, or to tell you what color you are during o4s color lasers?
Even better would be an update function, so you could do stuff like: "thunder 3: you are 10.2 yalms away from the boss DANGER"
When I start up the RaidBoss plugin, I see the Sample Text, but I do not see the bars.
My ACT will then start to report error messages

It's more than likely not the error from #41 ,
I figured that it was reading from the github file directly and not from my own local files.
I'm not quite sure how to fix it.
I have gotten closer than ever to getting this to work but now when I try to add a new overlay I still don't have cactbot as an option. I found an error down below that says:

I'm not sure whats up but it ever so slightly desyncs around this part. I was seeing the timer with 10 seconds left, but ink would go off. This is post Virus phase.
It would pick up and sync up again later, but heres the skill IDs fro the log:
[21:51:06.219] 14:2776:Guardian starts using Paste Program on Guardian.
[21:51:11.000] 00:282b:The Guardian uses Paste Program.
I think just adjusting the duration here to be 5 seconds instead of 10 will fix it, if possible.

)Tested for the first half or so of the fight. It basically looks for Shockwave after Load to decide which version of the timeline to run, and the latter half is untested just cause it's how far my group is. Hopefully it helps!
This is probably an edge case.
The Readme states:
Note: The cactbot\ folder does not have to be located inside of the OverlayPlugin directory, but that is where it comes by default as part of a cactbot release zip file. It can be located anywhere on disk as long as the entire cactbot\ folder is kept together.
This has been true for a while, however, in the new version, it loads this path for me (taken from devtools):
C:\Program Files (x86)\Advanced Combat Tracker\Plugins\OverlayPlugin\addons\../cactbot/user/raidboss.css
With the actual addon at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Advanced Combat Tracker\Plugins\OverlayPlugin\addons\CactbotOverlay.dll
My file was at C:\Program Files (x86)\Advanced Combat Tracker\Plugins\Cactbot\user\raidboss.css
, so it worked relative to the html file, but now now.
It's not a huge deal, but it's worth either taking out that section of the readme, or accounting for that setup and making the path relative to the html file rather than the dll file.

Would it be possible to store the previous value for true/false for the Blizzard/Thunder indicators for recall later as an enhancement to the trigger?
Storing a variable that is cleared on recall of the Thunder. I notice you have some suppression logic already I don't know if it would be easily doable to store the value to recall later. On recall, the trigger could say something like:
(true, false)
out thunder, in blizzard
or something to the effect. I'm not really sure about the scope of the variables and if you could easily reference the timeline file to tell you if you are at the recall stage or if some other way would be ideal.

We need to hide them behind comments or event lines to not break it's parsing.

It only does the sync but no duration.
I know it's kind of ironic to open an issue for something I contributed myself, but I'm not sure what's going on with this one.

The 3653-3378 lines were totally there. So there's a few things here
I'm not sure what would cause it to not load those specific lines unless there's some mechanism that looks at jumps to filter out unreachable items.

Yesterday I decided to try out this plugin;
As I watched the video about the raidboss feature, and how it worked and I was really exicetd about that!
But, as soon as I've got into Sigmascape v1 savage to test it out I noticed two things:
1 - fps dropped to 20 at the start of the fight
2 - sometime it felt like the computer was about to hang and freeze
During a relatively calm moment I decided to turn it off, and everything went back to normal.
I'm running FFXIV with Directx_11 and ACT x64 as Administrator, everything installed on a SSD drive
My notebook is an Asus Rog running Windows 10, with16gb RAM, I7 cpu (don't remember which one atm sry, i'm at work >_<) and a GTX960M
as I'm playing using the notebook monitor that is a 4k, my FPS usually are not higher than 60, but I never experience drops like this one, neither i've ever experienced freezes of any kind.
Do you think the problem is related to the high DPI of my monitor, and the already low FPS?
Is there something I may try before buying a new monitor? (or a PC ... >_<)

gonna shift the conversation over here as you requested. I finally have the test bars visible, however the timelines do not work when i bow. I have tested my text alerts and they work fine. when i go to the timeline plugin I get this error. when i bow to the dummy at summer ford I don't get any timelines.
~90% of the time, hen I get sucked into a train car in O5S using raidboss, the timeline stops for the fight and doesn't come back up. Doesn't matter if it's the ghosts after add phase or the normal diabolic whistle ones.
Many things appear as 0 when that's incorrect. I think the network log lines have changed and so the damage parsing no longer makes sense. There may be some new bit flags that I don't know what to do with or more weird flag shifts.
I think the first step is to add a locale file like hibiyasleep did for pull #23.
Timelines and triggers are their own thing. The current trigger format looks like this:

For timelines, one option that I'm not really fond of is to just have entirely duplicate timelines for each language. That seems less than great, because then if somebody ever resyncs times in a timeline or something, they'd have to adjust everything independently. I was thinking of maybe being able to just replace ability names from the english version.
So, I was thinking of something like this, for o8s.txt:

After following steps(maybe I made a mistake), I get this error when trying to create the overlay. To clarify, this is what shows up when I open ACT/Plugins/overlayplugin/general and read the bottom. It doesn't actually let me select cactpot as an overlay.

everything else works well, life bar, special rdm bar,

It doesn't see the end of the fight if you wipe or if you kill it.
CPU: i5 6600k at 4.5gz overclocked.
GPU: GTX 1080
Primary Monitor: Asus Predator 1440p 144hz
Secondary: 1440p 60hz monitor, no overlay is on this monitor though.
ACT spikes CPU usage up to 30-40% when constantly moving bars are on the screen. These include timeline bars, pull countdown bar, and job overlay timer squares. Changing the refresh rate down from 144hz to 60hz helped mitigate the CPU usage, down to ~15-20% using the test module.

is there a plausible way to remove all TTS' and sound playback without deleting lines + files?
I made a timeline for O5S based off various streams and videos. No syncs, no in-game testing while ACT is down, but I figure it's a headstart on 4.2 raidboss support.

Thanks for your hard work. I was wondering if it is not possible to add TTS to an existing Trigger via the User raidboss : Options.PerTriggerOptions ?
It seems I can enable and disable the various options but not add TTS if it doesn't already exist within the trigger. See my example below:

I can't seem to get it to show the tracking of RDM. Only shows the lines, but it's not tracking anything such as buffs/cds etc
When I go to Summerford and do the test script each of the text to speech callouts goes off 3 times overlapping with itself. I would love some assistance. Thank you for your time.
Not everybody likes the bespoke artisanal rectangles of the jobs ui and just want the big buff tracking. Add some option for this.

We have tts support on each end but nothing connecting them yet, so the tts triggers aren't used yet.

For whatever reason, this overlay just never does anything when loaded remotely, e.g. via https://quisquous.github.io/cactbot/ui/pullcounter/pull_counter.html
There are no errors. It's hard to breakpoint in devtools because it's probably a loading issue and that happens extremely quickly.
I was hoping that some of the more recent initialization changes would fix this magically ✨ but this is going to require some more investigation to fix.

Its kind of an amusing bug but maybe 4 pulls out of 5 it shows our monk pulling something like -1519536806 seconds early, which points to the unix epoch (jan 1, 1970).
He just says he's been preparing for that pull for almost 50 years.
I'm trying to get this set up for the first time and I used raidboss last night, but the overlay shows a bunch of default data that I doesn't go away.
The test bar 1 through test bar 6 are staying, to use it I had to open the console and remove them manually.
The Action texts push down the placeholder texts in the image, but the "Alarm text" "Alert text" "info text" always stays up.
It's possible to load cactbot from hosted pages (e.g. https://quisquous.github.io/cactbot/ui/raidboss/raidboss.html), however when doing so there's no way to load local user overrides.
One solution here might be to add all the files from $ACT/OverlayPlugin/cactbot/user/ to the OnDataFilesRead message, so that individual overlays can concat them into the document so scripts and css can be loaded. If we go this route, then probably not double-loading the local ones would be good too.
Also, minorly, pull counter appears to not work when running remotely (?!). It appears to not get events and via devtools no breakpoints in log messages ever get hit. No console errors either.
