This is a simple chat application built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It allows users to switch between two chat participants (John and Jane), send messages, and clear the chat history.

• Switch between chat participants (John and Jane).

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/simple-chat-app.git

2. Open index.html in your web browser.

• Click on the buttons to switch between John and Jane.
• Type your message in the input field and press enter or click the send button to send a message.
• Click the "Clear Chat" button to clear the chat history.

• Messages are stored locally in the browser's localStorage.
• Chat history persists even after refreshing the page or closing the browser.
• Clearing the chat history will remove all messages from localStorage.
