At first sight, the problem is that bencode integers are not 32bits integers, but "numbers" instead.

For example in this Metainfo file, the length entry is 2438987776 and exeeds java Integer MAX_VALUE , which is 2³¹-1 (2147483647), so less than 2 Gio.

So readint() should be able to parse java Long to be able to cope with file greater than 2 Gio, as for example for DVDs.

I'm still digging through the code to make all this work properly.

Two hundred lines is too much for a small project build file. Especially configuration related to releasing to Maven Central is too cumbersome. It should be good idea to extract part of the build and/or replace release configuration by a plugin.

Publish benjamin to Maven Central Repository.

Create integration tests for whole cycle of decoding/encoding using benjamin (e.g. use torrent file as data sample).
