It would be great if the custom build and server instance where not needed.

Or at least the hosting could be simplified,like maybe a Nextcloud app? That would make much sense and be easier.

You could cooperate with a Portuguese version of an Alexa skill, which says to offer more features and does the same as you basically, as it seems: brennoflavio/nextcloud-alexa#1

You could e.g. offer translations.

I am trying to get this running with Alexa Echo 2 and my Owncloud installation on my Synology.

I followed the "how to configure alexa" but the amazon developer console doesn't accept the content of "alexa_skill_definition.json". When using the Interaction Model Builder (BETA) some deprecated code is mentioned and corrected.

In addition I would like to run the iCAL interface on the AWS Lamdba instead of my own server. However I have no idea what part of the repository I have to upload to Lambda. A zip or jar file is expected. Also, I don't know how to configure the "environment variables" with my Onwcloud details... Any help is appreciated.
