LGX Lite for ERCF filament sensor

Hi Rama,

Thank you for the amazing work you guys have been doing with this.

Are there any plans to make the same modifications to the ERCF version of the LGX Lite model from Eytecz?

Alternatively, are you able to describe the relevant changes you've made?
That way I can try to repeat them myself on the ERCF version from Eytecz's models.

Thanks, Jaans.

PS: I know there is an ERCF branch with StallGuard to provide an option to not need the toolhead filament sensor, but that doesn't suit me.

Part orientation when installing

Doing a new 2.4r2 build. Some observations: Printed really well - followed instructions on Github re assembly - no issues at all. When installing the idlers on Y on a new build, following the manual, it may be confusing for newbies as the original idlers have 2 x 5mm holes on the top and a 5mm and 3 mm on the bottom, which allows for easy orientation (as per the manual). This mod has a 5mm and 3mm on both top and bottom and pully orientation may be tricky. As it is still in Beta, this may be something to consider.

Define brush location

I am looking at the Macro for Decontaminator Purge Bucket & Nozzle Scrubber. I have my brush at rear (y) and center (x). Not sure in marco how I change scrub location.

5M 22mm available at MacMaster-Carr

Not really an issue just an FYI.

MacMaster-Carr carries 5M 22mm 18-8 Stainless Steel Button Head Hex Drive Screws for $11.00 pack of 100.
Can be found at this link.

Also, M5 washers DIN 433 18-8 Stainless Steel from MacMaster-Carr at link for $3.71 pack of 100.

Also, I have used your latest STEP files (awesome! Thank You!) and assembled them in Fusion360. I have put some samples:

Late me know if you would like some larger or you can use these.

Cheers!

Mulit body front covers for multi color prints

if you could make a multi body idler covers so that the logo can be printed a different color that would be amazing. Multi body has really become mainstream since the release of V0.2. The 0.2 skirts have mulit body in the Voron official git

BedPan Wago mounts to small

I have wago 221 mounts I brought recently. Their widths 15.75mm wide. The bedpan's wago width is 12.6 mm. There appears to be enough space to fit 6 wider wago mounts

Hi

Thank you for mention. Will test your version btw. I already added version that fits both e3d and dragon but it's little less stiffer than the original one. (i think your version will fit to e3d too)

Trident Front idlers

Hi. I made a mod for your front idlers to better fit the Trident. Are you interested in posting in your rep? If so, let me know how to send the files to you.
I have printed, assembled the new idlers fits well, works well :)

Thanx!

Bucket Sizes

On my Voron 2.4 - 300, the measurement between my bed and chain is 74.13mm, so ideally a bucket size of 73.5 would work. Unfortunately the buckets in the STL folder don't go this small in size. Would it be possible to create some smaller sized buckets please?

Can't open .stp files in F360

F360 is not importing the files without giving a translation error pointing towards the file being corrupt/incorrectly formatted. Anyway to upload the files as either .step or .f3d ?

Upper Left and Upper Right belt clamps have cutouts in weird spots

This is kind of a nitpick more than anything since the belt is securely held either way.

Take the upper left belt clamp for instance. Assuming that the small hole goes in the back, and the groove for the belt is at the bottom, there is a cutout on the left side. I think this cutout should be on the right to give the belt space to drop in and route to the groove at the bottom.

SB_LGXlitePCB - Cable Cover Test1 Doesn't Fit With Connector Plugs

Feedback on the cable cover test1. It fits perfectly without the probe, FS, main 14-pin plug, or led plugs connected into the board, however with those connectors plugged in the cable cover won't close. It printed fine and doesn't seem too thin.

Thanks for the great projects Ramalama2! Lovin' your work!

SB_LGXlitePCB - Recommend cutting all pins flush on main hotend PCB to avoid shorts

When using the mounting system from this repo on my main hotend PCB, the pins on the back of the board shorted against the metal housing of the motor. I was lucky that the PSU overcurrent protection tripped and nothing was damaged.

I would recommend noting on the instructions that it may be a good idea to trim all pins from the main hotend board flush (or at least the ones for the main plug near the motor housing) and that it may be a good idea to add some insulation between the PCB and the motor for additional safety. I just covered pins on the back of my board with a couple of layers of kapton tape after trimming the pins flush.

Clarify number of Z-Belt-Clamps needed for the Front Idlers

The filename of the Front-Idlers_Z-Belt-Clamp-Upper-Left_x2 and Front-Idlers_Z-Belt-Clamp-Upper-Right_x2 suggest that 2 of each should be printed, but then the instructions only seem to mention 2 of the modified clamps are required (1 each of left and right).
