Aloha, An inquire about Dns rebinding

I read your really well written interesting Articles about hacking Iot devices

Using Dns rebinding And CSRF

I was working on similar attack since a while , And I faced a Somewhat Big problem Called Self signed Certs

Almost all routers nowadays use That Sh*t

Trying to pull any of these attacks would scare users off , But in my scenario , the user is expected to see that warning as usual (some are used to it when visiting the routers pages)

But Even if i get them to skip the warning , The connection between the attack server and the now server address after skipping the warning would be lost.

So I am thinking if this can be fixed using IFrames
That even when they skip the warning and the iframe url changes the parent window can still access it and inject payload code into it.

I am basically Trying to pull this attack off
hacking Wi-Fi with cached JavaScript, But while having self signed certs in mind since they are quite common, In addition to Delivering the payload page using Evil twin onto nearby network really quick by taking advantage of the Captive portal pop up. And i figured that it's quite easy to Escape the WebView in modern android devices so the page doesn't disappear when we disconnect them to connect back to their network as soon as the page loads.

So what do you think about the problem of Self Signed + Iframes ?

Thanks in advance : )
keep the good work Up , We want more of dem articles
