Using the terminal:

1. Clone the repository.

   $ git clone https://github.com/r4c3/mfchess.git
   

2. Run an instance of the backend server.

   $ cd client
   $ npm install
   $ npm run dev
   

3. Run the frontend.

   $ cd server
   $ npm install
   $ npm run start
   

4. Setup your .env. This is no longer public nor maintained, but if you want to set up your own MongoDB instance with the relevant collections, go ahead.
