I used before cookieswap on FF, but this don't work with release 20.0 of FF and
also FF bugs very often...
Your Swap My Cookies is very useful but the indication of profile by a number
is not explicit.
I think it is better to use the wording of profile instead of it's number.
Also the short cut to go to following profile [Ctrl][Shift][+] is not very easy
to use, some thing like double click will be more convenient.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install swap-my-cookies on Chrome
2. Create and use two or more profiles
3. Attempt to switch the current profile
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
After clicking on a different profile, it should display that it is on the new
profile, refresh the tabs and use the different set of cookies. Instead, it
takes several clicks to change profiles, tabs are not refreshed, and the
cookies from the old profile continue to be used. It is impossible to recover
the old cookies from the profile.

I once contacted you and requested the "Choose which profile to use everytime
the browser starts" feature, which has been great.
Recently however, Chrome has added the feature to run in the background when
closed. When I open Chrome, it no longer triggers Swap My Cookies to ask me
which profile I would like to use.

please add option to make one profile default and that profile loads each time
chrome starts, without the need to choose it each time (like the option
available now).
for example: if I make profile "X" default and sometime change profile to "Y",
after chrome is closed, profile "X" will be active automatically.

Hi the suggestion link took me to this page. I don't find another place I can
enter suggestion. Hope this is the right place.
I wonder if we can have an option that each tab / window is attached to a
separate cookie profile.
This can be very useful because I imaging people swap cookies like to simulate
a "different user". In my case, I want to open google calendar for my personal
google account and also google doc from my work google account. Right now I
need to use two browsers.
Thanks!

Is there someway to transfer the profiles from one harddrive to another?
I have a dead/dying but readable hardrive that I have replaced. I would really
like to copy all the profiles/cookies onto my new drive/installation.
I had hoped chrome would sync them for me, while the extension transferred, I
ended up with an empty/default Swap My Cookies set-up.

Consider this usage of Swap My Cookies:
A friend comes over to use your computer ever once in a while and wants to have
his own set of cookies stored on your computer. He doesn't want you or anyone
else getting into his accounts.
This is why I would like to see password-protected, encrypted profiles.
Perhaps, once the browser is closed, it would automatically revert to using a
non-password-protected profile, or at least prompt for the password so that the
protected profile would remain secure.

I would love to have it so that I can double click the icon to switch to the
next profile in the list. I know that the Firefox one does this and its really
useful to be able to quickly change a profile.

Here is something that I can do within the "Stainless" browser on MacOSX, and I
think it would be a good feature to add to swap-my-cookies:
How about if we can associate a cookie profile with each open tab or window?
This way, when switching to and from these tabs/windows, the profile will
automatically change.
For example:
1. Set up 2 profiles, "Profile 1" and "Profile 2".
2. Go to an empty tab. Call it "Tab 1".
3. Switch to Profile 1, and then log in as User1 on Gmail.
4. Create a new empty tab and go to this tab. Call it "Tab 2".
5. Switch to Profile 2, and then log in as User2 on Gmail.
6. Switch to Tab 1. I should now automatically be using Profile 1.
7. Switch to Tab 2. I should now automatically be using Profile 2.
8. Switch back to Tab 1. I should now automatically be using Profile 1.
... etc. ...
If this is possible, I think it would be a great feature!
Thanks for considering this suggestion.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect to see some instructions for how to use this extension in
combination with the edit my cookie extension. You say to use it first to
suspend filtering and something else but I can't find anything on their site or
yours that says how to do this. I would like to use this product since google's
new sign in has hosed about every password mgr user out here, but a line or two
of more detailed instructions on how to use the two together would help...or is
critical. I have also edited my profiles a couple times and when I come back
from putting my computer in sleep mode, my profile edits are all gone. Can it
be that complicated to use?
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Win 8.1, Snow leopard

A simple step by step list of instructions along with the list of all the
things this extension will allow you to do would resolve the issue. thx in
advance

I use this extension to manage two people's logins to common sites like
Facebook, YouTube, etc. but often forget to switch sessions when initially
launching Chrome. This creates a problem when I visit somewhere and am not
logged in or I create a new account, only to later find out I've started mixing
logins between the two profiles.
I think a nice feature would to simply have the option of choosing a profile
when the browser is initially launched.
Or (I don't know if this is even possible) somehow have a way to specify
session by using different Chrome shortcuts.
