Unplayable NES games about wii-mednafen HOT 1 CLOSED

 looked into Mermaids of Atlantis to see why one version was working and the other wasn't. It turns out that the non-working version is set to use mapper 8, while the working version is using mapper 79 (NINA-06) which is the version that documents state should be used for the game. That is the only difference between the two, the mappers.

Not sure why it is working in FCE ultra GX, but it appears the correct mapper 
should be 79.

Also, just checked out Total Recall, and it appears there are also two 
different versions, again with differences in the header. One is set to use 
Vertical Mirroring (which is what it should be set to), the other is set to use 
Horizontal mirroring which would account for the glitches you are seeing.
