Problem:Framerate is slightly too fast in "Dive Alert: Matt's Version"(NTSC -
UE) when like sending out a becon it take 2 seconds exactly in the emulator,3
and a half seconds almost 4 seconds on the real hardware(i know this because i
checked a few times between the emulator and my own ngpc and the game) and
music stops playing the first alarm in the cuts off while the other sfx's keep
playing normally, also i THINK the "Pac-man"(NTSC - UE) versions "Demo Screen"
is about 2-3 frames faster then the actual hardware but outside the "Demo
Screen" the framerate drops back to the correct while playing the game in the
emulator to what it is on the real hardware,if need be it i can MAYBE try to
get a video what it is im talking about

in wiimednafen you cant change default input settings by emulator,
you can do only change the bouton mapping by game, so if you use a genesis pad
on wii,the bouton maping dont work,so you need to map everytime you boot a new
game.
any ability to save the curent mapping as default one would be nice ^^
thx in advance.

Possibility of Full Widescreen support as in Eke-Eke & Tantric's emulators to
eliminate the vertical side borders. Mahjongg Wii v0.8 is a good example of the
difference it makes as it has an option to switch full widescreen on or off.

Hi; just curious is it possible to do speed optimizations for the emulator?
Just noticing a lot of slowdown on GBA games, some parts of Metroid with tons

I currently use an adapter that allows NES/SNES/Genesis controllers to be used
on Wii using the Gamecube controller ports. This works great on Virtual Console
and most emulators, since Select is mapped to Z on the adapter. However,
wiimednafen maps Z to the Home button, so every time I press Select on my
controller, I end up nearly exiting the emulator.
I was attempting to fix this problem on my own for personal use, but I've had
no luck at all getting the wiimednafen source to compile. Any help with either
remapping the buttons or getting the emulator to compile would be extremely
appreciated.

I hope there can be the ability to freely manage cheat codes by v0.2 of Wii
Mednafen.
You would hafta have seperate enhancer settings for every system because by
example,GBA has Gameshark while NES does not.
And also, every system needs a switchable setting for every individual code of
its code-type (e.g Game Genie/Gameshark/PAR/RAW Hex) so you can make codes work
along another for your favorite mix of codes to execute properly.
Also, what type of file is used for adding cheats with Wii Mednafen,is it a .cht
or .txt or what is it,and how should my code and name format be?

This is just an idea, but how plausible do you think it would be to get
Wiimednafen to access a PC Engine CD game using an external USB drive? I have a
number of PC Engine CD games, but my system's sound is broken. This would be
more convenient and fun than ripping every game I own and putting them on a
HDD. Just a thought, either way this is a great emulator!

I was hoping you would include Sega Genesis with 0.1's rewind feature, but as
you said rewinding is still in developement I did not expect it.
I know it is possible considering that there is an emulator called
"Gens PLUS! Rewind" that provides quite a long amount of smooth rewind frames.
In closing,I hope you consider later on enabling rewind support for the Sega
Genesis emulation.

Dear razOred,
Would it be possible in the future to a scan line option?
As in a video filter?
That would be awesome for us lcd tv users and would give that "real"
arcade feel to most games.
I have no cleu if this is even possible, but IMHO it would be awesome.
For example: VC Arcade game Ghouls & Ghost has a configurable scanline option.
If this could be implemented It would take the hassle out of buying a slg3000
and upscaler in order to get scanlines on a lcd tv.
Looking at all the fantastic ports you did to Wii, I know you also are a retro
game lover. This would make sense ( if possible )
Anyway, can;t get enough of your awesome port!

Most games I've tried on Mednafen are totally fine volume-wise, but Wonderswan

I observed the problem while using wii-mednafen as a PC Engine emulator. I had
produced a clean rip of the CD version of Forgotten Worlds, then transcoded the
WAV files for the relevant tracks as Ogg Vorbis. However, I had forgotten to
replace instances of ".wav" with ".ogg" in the CUE sheet. What happens is that
wii-mednafen displays a generic error on the first attempt to load the CUE
sheet. On the second attempt, it usually crashes hard (black screen with stack
trace).

Hi sorry that I cannot be more specific but I notice the NES sound is really
off at certain points when the channels drop out to allow for sound effects.
For example, at the boss in the second stage of Contra when there's a lot of
shooting, instruments then play back notes at the wrong times and it sounds
really odd; not anything like the real hardware in comparison.

Hi my name is Lee. I use wiimednafen v 0.1.1 author raz0red on my wii homebrew
and it has been working fine for close to a year now so i must have done
something wrong because whenever I try to load any roms the usual loading text
at the bottom of the screen comes up and then the screen just goes black and
stays that way. When this happens nothing works no controls respond anymore
except the 5 second shut off button on the console (no response from wiimote)
This problem is consistant and i cant seem to find an answer to my problem
other than wiping my wii and starting from scratch but that would result in me
losing a lot of stuff id prefer not to.
what I did different today was I accidentally selected a .zip file from a
random folder i found while searching for my NES games that were saved on my SD
card. some one else modded this system for me and left the folder (Mameroms) on
it and I assumed it was the nes games folder. when i searched it and found out
i was wrong i pressed A(choose) instead of B (cancel) by accident. the result
was the loading text before the screen going black and me having to turn off
the system via the console button. after this happened i gave up on my search
for NES games and went back to the folder with my gba roms which i always play
and now the same thing happens every time without exception. all other programs
on my wii still work.
Please help :)

I'm simply requesting an enhancement to add Retroarch's version of SNES9x Next
into Wii-Mednafen's already long long of emulators.
SNES9x Next is not simply just another port of the popular SNES9x emulator, but
its actually been modified quite a bit for the Wii specifically to allow full
speed of SNES games WITHOUT ANY frameskipping whatsoever!
You can find SNES9x Next 1.52.3 here -
https://anonfiles.com/file/f40e8dd45dc7ba68f03d2bab3546adfd - and its contained
within the Retroarch folder.
I'll also attach it for your convenience.

The WonderSwan emulator could use a couple of minor improvements around
rotation. Some games, e.g. Klonoa, aren't played in one specific orientation,
but require the player to rotate as the stage requires it: some are vertical,
others horizontal. Entering the menu between stages becomes a hassle; allowing
rotate to be mapped as a button would be great.
On a related note, per-game settings only save one custom button layout. Thus,
when using custom layouts, it's necessary to re-set the controls every time the
screen is rotated, since the layout returns to the default when switched.
Thanks for any consideration.
