could not get this to work. Uninstall prompt mentioned creating a ticket if it was due to functionality. Please let me know what information you need to diagnose issue.

We currently use Jira v8.20.5 Datacenter and although the template does populate the description field it is only visible in the Text view for some reason the Visual view will not always render the template even when switching between Text and Visual views.
The issue seems fairly random and goes away if I edit the description in Text view before switching to Visual.

I downloaded the Jason file and then tried to import it into Jira cloud. But I see this error in Jira . I did enter the Custom Domain and the Project key.

Extension does not work with 12/21 Jira Web Create New Ticket Release

I would like to centrally manage the templates within my organization. For the initial installation I was able to send everyone instructions to load the json file from a URL.
Rather than sending out instructions each time I want to make updates, it would be great if the plug-in checked for an updated json file at the same URL at each startup. Even if it is too hard to check for new, just setting it up to reload each time from the URL would be cool.

I tried downloading loading a JSON template from a URL and when clicking the download button nothing happens.

I then tried to upload the file directly but I receive the following error:
"Error parsing JSON. Please verify contents."

The file is valid JSON and it worked a few months ago when I last uploaded it.
It seems that it's stopped working for me.

Please see the json file attached. (I renamed it to .txt so that it could be uploaded here; normally it's .json.)

Hello! I am facing the following problem. The development team I work with creates stories by using the board view and pressing the inline create issue button. As you can see in the video even though the "Create Issue" on top of the page works like a charm, the inline button does not. Is there a workaround for it? Some url that I can add to the domains? Or something similar?

When I create a new ticket, the template isn’t automatically injected as I would expect. Strangely, if I switch the issue type (ex: Story > Bug), the previously selected template appears! (see attached gif)

The only thing I changed after installing the extension was to add a custom domain to recognize the JIRA instance we use.

Hi,
I can successfully create custom ID but I don't know how to input value in the e.g. environment field via the template?
Applying template will only work for the pre defined "Description" field.

Would be nice if someone can give me an example on how to put in values also for the added customId's.

very very thanks that you develop the awesome project field from #30 Really nice to see how fast you are :)

I was so exited to test it today, but i cant load the template from an URL or a file :(
Loading the default works.

1.)

• Update App from ChromeWebStore (Version 1.2.2)
• Change my template to the new layout with project field etc.
• load from URL like in the previous version
  ** Then i got "Invalid URL...)
  

2.)

• download the default template from github you kindly provide
• click on file and select file i downloaded
• window disappear, app popup disappear
• nothing happened, if i click again on the JTI file is not selected anymore and so i can not click on "Upload File"

I closed chrome, deleted cache, enabled/disabled the app.

If i can provide more information let me know :)

The extension doesn't work in the Vivaldi browser.

I can install it, but when I click the extension, it doesn't load the window.

Quite often, the browser says the extension crashed as well.

Vivaldi is based on Chrome so not sure why it's not working as it would in Chrome.

However, I couldn't manage to make this plugin to work. I'm afraid it's because we have a port in our Jira custom domain (e.g. jira.company.com:8080). Are you familiar with this kind of problem?
If it's not the problem, I'd very appreciate if you'll explain how to debug this issue.

Summary

Quick jump to next selected TI element using a shortcut key, not a click.

The functionality of the injector that lets you click on the default text between TI elements, then automatically selecting it, is excellent. After you're done typing, you then simply click on the next set of text and continue. It would be even better if you could just TAB to the next set of TI elements, like tabbing between fields works. The actual TAB key won't work, but something like the back tick would.

Additional Information

• Create new JIRA issue.
• Select a different issue type, or use the selected one.
• Press TAB to get to the Description field. Or, click on the Description field.
• Press the back tick key ```
• First set of TI elements is selected.
• Start typing your words.
• Press the back tick key ```
• Next set of TI elements is selected.
• Rinse, repeat.

I'm happy to contribute code as I am able to if this gets accepted as a valid enhancement.

Is there a limit on the size of the template json? I have some large templates. Now when I try to add a new one I receive an error "Error saving data. Please try again.".

Hello. I'm trying to use this extension with a domain in the form of jira.atl.mycompany.net and it's not injecting the templates into the modal.

I've added the custom domain in the extension and also added templates. I refreshed the pages as well. Any advice here?

So it was autofilling this popup amazingly before Jira has updated their design in "create a ticket" popup(in Chrome at least). It's just not working anymore!

Please check it out and fix.

Love your extension in Chrome, but was wondering if you plans to port it over to Firefox?

thanks for your awesome work. I like it really much and it speed up productivity in my team :)
Unfortunately, we have several projects and in some the requirements for the template are somewhat different. It would be great if you could assign the template to projects.

It would be a cool feature and would make the plugin even much cooler than it is without already :)
