Same issues here. It defaults to /refinery/refinerycms-portfolio as the link unless you change the plugin.url.
The image adding is also not working for me using the latest version of both Refinery and this. Would greatly appreciate any fixes.
Thanks.

which version of refinery are you using? I'm guessing from the unstable master branch?
from refinerycms-portfolio.
Yeps! But I really like the new master branch version! Could you still have a quick look :) ?
from refinerycms-portfolio.
Yeah but you'll have to build your gem against github or install this as a plugin...
Also you can overcome the url issue by installing as a plugin with the directory 'portfolio'

I installed it as a plugin. And the url thing fixes the admin link. But I'm stilling having problems with the image dialog.

To clarify Ygor (as I'm running into the same issues):
If I remember correctly I'm running Refinery version 0.9.7 (whatever the current Master is on Github) with the latest Refinerycms-portfolio.
I've built against Github for the portfolio plugin and still had to fix the plugin.url. Regardless, the real problem I'm running into is when when I click "add image" in the portfolio section on the admin side and select an image and hit "save" the image never gets added properly.
I've tested this against an older version of Refinery (not sure the version, but it was when the buttons weren't the blueish color and the tabs in the backend were rectangular) and it worked fine.
So the problem seems to arise only with the newest version of Refinery combined with Refinerycms-portfolio.
I've been taking a look at it, but am not sure where the problem is.
I hope this clarifies a few things.
Thanks.

The problem is the javascript in the unstable master is unstable :-) We're working around the dialogue buttons currently so there are guaranteed to be issues.
We love patches! :)

Hey, is this working now?
from refinerycms-portfolio.
Just built off of latest version of Portfolio with no luck still.
Going to try off the latest Refinery now (was hoping to beat you to my edit!). I realized you said it was due to the JS in Refinery. Will report back soon.
from refinerycms-portfolio.
With the latest refinery too?
from refinerycms-portfolio.
Still no-go with the latest Refinery and latest Portfolio off of GitHub.
I'm going to see if I can get a workaround working or something in the mean time. Will post back if I find one.

For me it is working now!
from refinerycms-portfolio.
It seems that it is broken again, because it is not working for me. I am using the latest version form i18n branch which is now up to date with master branch.
from refinerycms-portfolio.
Of course, i18n branch is different to master so this is good to know that there are issues.

Fixed with commit

Thanks parndt for such a quick response! It is working indeed :) save my day...
