Portfolio tabs are not "tabbing" properly in RefineryCMS 0.9.9.1

This may hint at a regression in 0.9.9.1 since 0.9.9 or a bug in the way we're doing the tabs in portfolio.

after installing the plugin it create a empty normal page nothing else. No error messages or anything.

I have the refinery version 0.9.7.5 installed and then tried to install the portfolio plugin version 0.9.7.

Installed as gem with Refinery also installed as gem. Tried to fix but couldn't figure out how. Might need to use instance constants instead.

Portfolio Permissions when running as Gem

When running this as a gem, it seems the permissions are a bit broken. The plugin still works but it's not registering itself properly. Need to somehow get it into the configuration's default_plugin_paths.

Cannot upload more than 18 images on a single portfolio

Hi, I ve got the following error (that I really don't know how I can manage) when I tried to upload more than 18 photos (via the admin area) on a single portfolio.

I got the same problem on my development and my production environnement.
I am using the master branch of refinerycms-portfolio and refinery 1.0.3

Unable to set the parent_id

There is no UI for setting the parent_id in _form or the javascript. As a result, all newly created PortfolioEntries have parent_id = nil, and no pictures are associated. I am looking for a parent pull-down menu similar to the one found under the Pages plugin.

Installation from gem doesnt create portfolio link on admin menu

When you install all fresh, from the gem,
refinerycms (0.9.6.4)
portfolio (0.9.2)
There is no link for the portfolio on the admin menu.

If you install from the gem version that is on the enviroment.rb,
config.gem "portfolio", :version => ">= 0.9.1.5", :lib => "portfolio", :source => "http://gemcutter.org"

You will get the link (but the issue http://github.com/resolve/portfolio/issues#issue/2 still happens)

Rake task not available on fresh install

I did a fresh install of refinerycms (0.9.8.5) and included the refinerycms-portfolio gem in my bundle as it says. It installs successfully with 'bundle install' and then when I run the rake task, it just gives me

Don't know how to build task 'refinery:portfolio:install'

I take this to mean that it can't access the rake task from inside the gem. I'm not smart enough to figure out why and try to fix it myself!

Engines being created as pages

I've been attempting to create various engines as specified in the rickrockstar examples, this worked last night but no longer works and all engines are now being created as pages.

Can you please advise as to how I can resolve this?

Adding a second image to a gallery causes an error

I created two galleries both with one image and the site works fine, when I add a second image to a gallery it fails displaying the gallery on the site with the following error:

If I remove an image from the same gallery it works again.

Page not found in portfolio tab

After installing portfolio, when I click at the portfolio tab, it shows the page not found page! Anything missing there?

On engineyard server, production log shows "ActiveRecord::ActiveRecordError (Impossible move, target node cannot be inside moved tree.):" Re-ordering is successful, but spinner shows continuously after clicking "Done re-ordering". Need to refresh page to get out of this state.

portfolio plugin failed on heroku

Hi guys,

I have a problem with portfolio plugin.
It works pefectly in my local machine but not in heroku.

Normally, on the left side should be an original image size and on
another side should be a smaller size of images-thumbnails, it seems
to work like that in my local machine.However, it didn't work on
heroku, it shows only the original size of image on both side-left and
right.

I have checked with Amazon S3 bucket, it seems that there is only one
image in that bucket instead of several images with different sizes as
usual.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Generator error

I created a new refinery project and I'm getting this error when I try to generate the portfolio:
Could not find generator refinerycms_portfolio.

I have tried with: "refinery_portfolio" and "portfolio" with same result.

I'm using:
rails 3.0.4
refinerycms 0.9.9
refinerycms-portfolio 0.9.9

This issue is similar to #28 but the solutions proposed for it didn't work for me.

Bundle install failed

I am getting the following error while bundle installing the gem

Bundler could not find compatible versions for gem "refinerycms-core":

In my gemfile i added the following line

"No items yet" translation missing for admin top-level images list

If no top level images have been added, viewing the list displays "i18n: No Items Yet". The translations files are missing refinery.admin.items.index.no_items_yet. Also, I think there are some unused translations lying around in there. Possibly some file structures changed and the translation paths weren't updated.

Unable to associate images to portfolio page

Refinery version 0.9.6.4
Portfolio plugin version 0.9.2

Steps to reproduce: Install clean refinery demo app, edit database.yml, rake db:setup, install portfolio plugin (both script/install and gem methods tested). Start server, log in to app (create admin user first), create new portfolio page, create sub-portfolio page, click "Add image" and use thickbox image selector to choose image (once a new one's been uploaded). Click "Save" and no result.

Observing the server logs shows nothing happening on the server side when "Save" is clicked - investigating the source reveals why: there is no

element wrapping the image chooser.

Migrations are fixed-date

If you are installing portfolio into an existing project, the migrations that it creates are not renamed to have a current datestamp. This can cause serious havok!.

It would be better to use rails generators in place of rake refinery:portfolio:install - they have built-in support for creating migrations with the correct names.

Fixed by removed .any? from the end of that line. Does that break anything, or what was the purpose of the .any? in the first place as the methods it's attached to returns nil.

Feature Request: Titles and descriptions

It's probably difficult to implement with the current system of dumping images into a content area, but it would be great if each image could have a title (also used for alt text), and a longer html description.

If this is too big of a change, I might just start a new project, since I'd also like to use colorbox for displaying images.

Saving reordering does not work

After pressing the done reordering button for the portfolio items, it doesn't do anything.

Error in show template

When running with multilevel portfolios, line #40 of show.html.erb has a bug. As it stands now if a portfolio item is created with a child, it gives this error

This was caused in Rails 3.2.3 upon clean install.

Plugin doesn't appear to work

I've installed latest version as a plugin and followed the instructions in the readme. The tables seem to be created in the db ok, as does the link to the portfolio page (on the public web site). But nothing else appears.

I've got the latest version plugin from the master branch and am running version 0.9.7.5 of Refinery.

Any clues?

seo_meta gem for galleries?

Not sure if this is the correct place as its not an issue with this engine more a question but im trying to use the seo_meta gem to this engine.

Have added this to the gallery model.

Adding this to the model works fine as it saves the data to the seo_meta table with the correct seo_meta_type of
Refinery::Portfolio::Gallery

The issue is the meta tags and custom title do not appear when selecting a gallery. Any ideas how to get them to appear?

Image and "there is no image" both displayed when editing an image

In 2-0-stable, when you edit an image it displays the image followed by the message "There is currently no image selected, please click here to add one." followed by the link to remove the image.

Steps to reproduce:

create a gallery
add an image to it via the "Add an image" action
view the gallery's images via the "X images" link
click the "Edit this image" button

Adding image not working

Hi,

It appears that adding an image is not working with the latest version of the portolio and the latest version of refinery (i18n branch). Furthermore I had to include plugin.url = '/refinery/portfolio'
in the init.rb to make it work in the first place.

While trying out the plugin I've got that strange error while trying to create a new gallery:

It came out of nowhere (some HTML line in the form view), but I can't find which model need that attribute to be accessible. I tried to modify the Gallery and Item models to no avail.

Hi there,

When I click the "Add an image to this gallery" next to a gallery in the admin galleries#index page I'm redirected to the new image form but with no gallery selected in the dropdown menu. Also the gallery I created could not be selected in that dropdown menu.

If I click create the image will then be properly created, but as a top-level image, not inside the gallery I wanted.

Creating images through the "Add an image button" on galleries#index works perfectly though, provided I selected the proper gallery in the dropdown menu (and this time the gallery I created was selectable)

ActiveRecord::RecordNotFound in Refinery::Portfolio::GalleriesController#show

Hello,

I have a strange issue with refinerycms-portfolio, after creating a new gallery I can't access it in the site, seems like active record is not finding the slug of the gallery:

Couldn't find Refinery::Portfolio::Gallery with id=new-gallery

But if I manually edit the URL in my browser, using an ID instead of a slug, the page is found.
Example: localhost:3000/portfolio/galleries/1 instead of localhost:3000/portfolio/galleries/new-gallery

Does anyone has an idea on how to fix this issue ?
Is it a missing Gem ?
I've tried to edit the portfolio/index page to edit links, but i couldnt manage to override this view.

HTML entities in portfolio titles do not display correctly in browser title bar

HTML entities display as &, etc. Happens for &<>" so probably all entities.

No route to front office

I have installed the extension has described on the home and can joyfully play with the portfolio in the admin :)

However, I can not acces the gallery previews on the front :

Images Not Displaying in Portfolio

Hey,

Thanks for the updates lately, much appreciated! Glad to see the portfolio plugin running on the lastest Refinery.

I'm running into a new error now (images correctly add now, hooray), that no matter what images are attached to the portfolio I get:

We haven't entered anything in for this project yet.

I've double checked to make sure all the associations are created on image add (they are), but for some reason it keeps rescuing to the empty view.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,
