I have created the form but when i upload it on my ipad, the responses from

Am working in Zambia and hoping to use EpiCollect or similar. To trial the 
software, we bought an HTC Wildfire (unlocked international version bought in 
the US). I then wanted to install epicollect, but can't find it in the android 
market (tried searching for epicollect, epi collect, imperial college and have 
also scanned the barcode, but to no avail). I am guessing that there is a 
filter in the app that is preventing it showing up in this phones  market 
place, but don't know of a way to over-ride it. I can find a link to the app on 
the web, but can't get it onto the phone. 

Are there any settings that i need to change on the phone or do you have a .apk 
file I can download to install on the phone while any market issues get 
resolved?

Very keen to trial this software asap.....

1.Delete parent from web -- progeny still will synch sometimes, but I couldn't 
really test because the web was too slow

In our tests, we have successfully created new data sources at 
www.epicollect.net, however our attempts to create data sources at our own 
servers, by adding the <uploadToServer href="" /> <downloadFromServer href = "" 
/> and <uploadImageToServer href = "" /> tags have so far failed, with the 
android log reporting "WEB ERROR: java.net.MalformedURLException Protocol not 
found:"

Problem is not reproducible at Imperial College, but appears widespread outside.

Users are reporting that after logging in they cannot edit the project as they 
are presented with a white screen and no response.

Proposed solution... removal of 'ticketing' system and moving to use appengines 
users interface entirely.

For university purposes we have 60 samsung galaxy tab 3 devices. We really like 
the epicollect method for teaching purposes; however we found out that it is 
not possible to download the epicollect app on the devices. We get a message in 
the store that the software is not suitable for the device. 

Is there a way to fix this?

messages about not being able to parse the xml...

I was wondering if/when you were planning on releasing the source for the iOS 
version. I saw that you mentioned it was planned on the home page, but I 
couldn't find any other information. For me personally, it wouldn't matter if 
it were not completely finished -- I need to make modifications for a different

When I tap to synchronise entries, it starts synchronising, however when I go

Selecting of the value is what is expected...instead the app crashes.
OR
Selecting of the value tapped is what is expected if you select a value further 
down the list...but it will select the value about what is tapped, making the 
last value not select-able.

I have noticed it on iOS devices using iOS 5 through 6.1.  The error happens in 
my project which has 35 items in the drop down, but it is also happening in 
"demoproject" under the search engine drop down.

Works just fine in Android with the 35 value drop down I have in my project.  
The other issue I am having is that decimal points don't work in android in a 
numeric field whereas they do work in iOS.

I would like to bring this in house to further adapt the forms but have not 
received any response about best procedure for that since I e-mailed around a

I have successfully created a project (TangazAjali) and I have been running a 
few dummy entries. I have however noticed the following few errors:
1. When a field is marked as numeric, The Iphone 3G cannot accept zeros for an 
entry either as a unit (0) or when I attempt to enter zeros within a figure 
(101).

2. When I try to browse the project data I get the following error 
("SyntaxError: missing } after property list"). After clicking ok, the data is 
not being uploaded despite the fact that I was previously able to view data on 
the browser. The other browser functions seem to work correctly.

1. Take Multiple datapoints offline for a project on Asus Transformer (TF101) 
with ICS installed (stock).
2. Upon gaining wifi connection, attempt to sync entries.
3. "Synchronization Failed" will immediately appear.

-Behavior remains the same after restarting the app/rebooting the tablet.
-I switched projects to "demoproject" and then back to "rwandapicohydro" to see 
if this would solve the problem, but instead it appeared to lose all 60 of my 
local entries.
