I'm running into this as well. I'm confused as it was working earlier today and now it's stopped working. The group stays empty and the code isn't updating. Not sure how to debug this so I guess I'll generate it by hand.
Also, if I add the group by hand, then modify my model, it is cleared out of XCode but the code files still exist on disk.

Actually, this was my error. I had an attribute set as 'undefined' type. Works fine for me. Not sure if this is the original posters issue though.

Yeah. it would be nice if Xmo'd reported mogenerator's errors elsewhere than Console.app.

Hmm, I am seeing this error as well: Empty folder without any classes within. I'm running 3.2.3 with mogenerator 1.20 installed.
Console says the following:
8/23/10 2:16:44 PM [0x0-0x6c06c].com.apple.Xcode[724] osascript: couldn't save changes to script /Developer/Library/Xcode/Plug-ins/Xmod.pbplugin/Contents/Resources/Scripts/Xmod.scpt: Permission denied
UPDATE:
after I created the Managed Object Class by hand one time (and deleted it afterwards), it seems to be working now.....weird.
