The newer version of Gitso should help a lot. I don't know if it will solve the
issue, but OS X support is much better in the new version. See attached.
If you are still having issues try the following command in the terminal:
python /Applications/Gitso.app/Contents/Resources/Gitso.py
[Assumes Gitso is installed at /Applications/Gitso.app]

Once you click get support and start, you should see the following in the
terminal.
If that all happens, then Gitso should be doing what it's supposed to.
Called with --listen.
