Thank you for your work, I'm trying to use it.
In fact, I have an HP Envy 4528 which I would like to use also as a scanner on MacOS High Sierra.
First, configure was complaining that install-sh was not present. I copied it from libtool, as well as config.sub and config.guess, to please it.
Now, I'm getting:
configure: error: cannot find libjpeg-devel support # (configure error 103 in config.log)
Diving into configure.in, this is caused by:
AC_CHECK_HEADERS(jpeglib.h,, [AC_MSG_ERROR([cannot find libjpeg-devel support], 103)])
But jpeglib.h is in /opt/local/include.
I'm using MacPorts and package jpeg is installed which is where, I guess, jpeglib.h is included.
Tried to install libjeg-turbo (libjpeg-devel does not exist in MacPorts) but it collides with jpeg. So, question is, do I need to to uninstall package jpeg and replace it with libjpeg-turbo?
