About Me

I'm a lifelong programmer who's love is diving into new projects and ideas, and moving both developer and user experience forward constantly. This carries me forward whether in my day-to-day work on my company's product, improving the state of our internal tooling and platform, or contributing a array for OSS projects.

Currently Working On

Right now, my big focus is on Kubernetes and cloud native tech. Specifically making it more accessible and robust for developers. The ecosystem around k8s and many cloud native technologies is rich but often unfriendly to newcomers, or workable for platform and tooling teams but unfriendly for the rest of engineering orgs. As someone tackling this at my own company, I'd like to carry that work forward to the broader community.

jsii-docgen build failures... separate repo for ecs-s3volume?

Hi @RichiCoder1 , thanks for putting this CDK construct together! I'd like to start using it, but was hoping to get some of the dependencies updated. Looks like the PR builds are failing with:

sounds like jsii-docgen expects the src to be at the root level, or at least a new-ish bug is what's causing the issue: cdklabs/jsii-docgen#390. Hopefully that gets fixed soon or the owner can chime in on how best to update it so I can make a PR there.

That said, what about having the ecs-s3volume in its own repo? Seems like many constructs available in npm that I see have a dedicated git repo, but I suppose it's just a preference thing. That should make jsii-docgen happy too.
